Ticket-holders for tomorrow's eviction face-off between Dan and Vanessa - which would have been the first bona-fide real eviction of the series so far - are reporting that they have received phone calls saying not to turn up as the eviction's been cancelled.
No firm reason for the cancellation has been given in the calls. But after the explosive events of last night, perhaps Big Brother has chosen to avoid adding even more tension and pressure and try to let things cool.
Quite what will happen to the revenue collected by Endemol and Channel4 from the voting public, however, remains to be seen. Dan and Vanessa's stay of execution may therefore only be temporary.
More on this as we get it.

There's not actually been a single paid-up eviction yet. Jug-eared highly derivitive Everything But The Girl hairstyled Kitten a.k.a public school slumming it brat from Grand Parade just got disqualified for failing to see the difference between a game show and any meaningful act of anarchy. It's Victor who's blowing it bigtime IMHO. Boy's a fully paid-up psycho on a short fuse.
At this rate they'll all still be in the house at the end of eight weeks - assuming the whole thing's not just closed down by the TV authorities - and maybe they'll just let a few half-starved lions in through the side doors and let them all get on with it. Quality viewing of the Summer and a damn sight more rivetting than Euro 2004.
