Arsenal fan mocks Arsene Wenger using Eminem hit 'Stan' | The Sun |Sport|Football

found it pretty funny and I believe his contract does end this season, if they dont win nothing (lets face it they aren't) I can see a new manager going to to them. As all i hear from Arsenal fans are they had enought with his style of play, transfer handling, lack of trophies & well everything I guess

what do you think the chances are him leaving?

I may even put some money on him not being there manager next season if his contract does finish this year

They will finish in the top 4 again and they probably won't win anything.

All things considered that's another good season. I think he'll stay.

I have never heard an Arsenal fan criticising his style of play.

They have no divine right to win the league or Champions League, and deep down they know that too. They've done pretty well with Wenger. The difference now is before they were one of only two who could win the title, now United, City and Chelsea are bigger, and Liverpool and Spurs are about the same.

If anything does for Wenger, it will be the idea that he is too stubborn and won't do what is right for the team just because he is being told to. They have needed centre-backs and a goalkeeper for about four years, and everyone knows it and can see it.

I'd stick with him but then I'm not an Arsenal fan and I don't expect to win something every season. He has laid the foundations well at that club and they seem to have spent very little in comparison to the other title chasers over the last few years. Does Wenger choose not to spend big or do Arsenal just not have the money?

Few better teams to watch in Eurpoe when they are on song.

For the last couple of seasons I have predicted Arsenal getting dumped out of Champs league, before it starts.
Followed by a couple of very bad results, leaving Wenger no where to go but out of the managers chair.

I see no reason (other than the fact it hasn't happened yet!) to change this thinking, for this season.

Won't happen, they are too good for everyone but 5 or so teams who tend to knock them out of the Carling Cup late stages (normally because Wenger plays reserves), the FA Cup later stages and the 1/4 or semis of the Champs League. Arsenal seem to be in for 4 cups every year late into the season and a month later are going home empty handed having led the League early season and looking good.

Seems to me that Wenger's just lost the plot. If I was an Arsenal supporter and won nothing for 6 years, I'd be pretty pissed off.
Especially with what they have to pay at the Emirates for their tickets.

I've already put a tenner on him not being their next season. Let's face it if Fabregas and nasri both go they're not gunna finish top 4 unless they sign a few players. That little Southampton shit doesn't count as a proper signing because he's not even championship class yet let alone prem and champs league standard!

I think they'd be mad to let him go if there was a chance of him taking a job "upstairs". There aren't many managers with the consistent ability to spend £2-3m on a player and turn him in a £20m one.

Think about it, can you imagine CMS being worth £20m in 3 or 4 years (which would pay off a fifth of the Amex bill)?

There aren't many mangers who would spunk 15 million on a player unproven outside league one either.

As much as I agree with all of that, and the other pro Wegner statements on this thread.
You do also point out how quickly it can go wrong.
This years CL prelims draw has not been kind, Udinesse were fourth in Italy.
A quick turn over for the reserves in Carling Cup.

Then come Sept out of 2 comps, unable to win 1, and that leaves 'the lottery of the Cup'.

Next years budget goes out of the window.

I'm one of wengers biggest fans. He's done so much for arsenal. Literally transformed them into a European giant! HOWEVER as a european giant they should be winning trophies. If he can't do that someone else should now be given a chance. He's shot himself in the foot from having a successful past with arsenal. Nonetheless he's an arsenal legend!

I think he is a fantastic manager, second best only behind Sir Alex...but think he will be gone by the end of the season, unfortunately

Likely sacked around January for new man to spend in the window, unless something very strange happens and the transfer policy changes once Fabregas & Nasri leave!

Can't see Wenger being sacked unless things went really wrong. I could see him leaving if he can't get a decent replacement in for at least one of Fabregas or Nasri though. As said before he has a knack of turning some £2M players into £20M ones but for every Cesc Fabregas there's a Nicklas Bendtner. Although not an Arsenal fan I do like the way his sides play the game so I hope he stays there for a while yet.

He just needs George Graham as his assistant, that's all.
