Is the Middlesbrough game likely to sell out?

Really? Surely not having a home game for a fair while would mean there will be a good turnout.

I think the crowd could be down because the last two results were 'average'...and the opposition, whilst decent, are not the most attractive..... 24k ish

Probably going to be only the 3rd league game I've missed at the Amex because the only tickets available are in S1, which I refuse to pay £34 out of principle for what is probably the worst stand in the ground.

Hopefully they will release good/ticket exchange seats in a few days time.

Looks like 2000 tickets still available in the £34 + £2 SE block next to the away supporters.

Seemingly only 99 left...

The predicted ESU tickets have appeared. It is the same ones every time, so why are only those who are disorganised and leave it until 48h before kick off get to buy them?

Boro Game Close to Sell-Out

According to this link, it's nearly a sell out. I have no doubt that the ESU and the 100 or so left in the ESL will sell out. However, if Boro are bringing less than 1500 (last reports were just over 1000 sold (dam good effort by the way)) there there should be no reason why block S1F is not made available, as S1C, S1D and S1E should accomodate Boro, even allowing for segregation.

I would have thought south stand proper tickets might still fly out at £28?

It's stick or twist with tickets. Wait, wait, wait until the poor, expensive ones have gone then buy. But how late do you leave it before 'blinking' ??

This is going to be ' The Big One' given that it is a 3.00 pm start so I reckon over 26,000 for the first time at the AMEX.

( seats sold that is )

I agree - the only Saturday 3pm in an 8 week timeframe.

The AMEX will be bursting.

I just noticed that Boro's allocation was 1600. That would suggest S1C, S1D and S1E, minus segregation from those areas. If this is the case, then maybe there are no more south stand seats to sell home fans.

There was a bunch in S1D and S1C in previous games, but maybe these were sold in match packs or additional season tickets.

I guess we will see later today once the ESU and ESL tickets have been snapped up and whether the ticket exchange becomes active.
