I see that Another Berkshire Seagull web page has 115 tickets available in the South. I assume that's not all outstanding, unless Boro have either sold out or already returned their spares.

Do we expect a full house again?

What seems to be happening is that they are declared sell-outs, then a few hundred 'extra' tickets are made available, which then get sold, then on the day of the game, there are loads of empty seats, and the crowd is declared around 25/26 000 odd...

Unlikely. The 115 you see are technically in the ESL. We have not even been offered the bulk of the main allocation for the south proper. As a minimum there will be half of G block and some odds and sods in H. These will account for 400 ish.

Then there are the usual ones that will appear in the WSL and the random ones in the ESU - another 100 here maybe.

In block S1B another 3 or 4 rows could be offered, still leaving a big enough area for segregation.

Finally, I can't see Boro bringing more than 850 in which case they will just eat the corner blocks (S1C, S1D) which will mean S1E and S1F will be available for us. These account for another 1300 ish!

So, all in all, nearly 2000 more could be shifted before the exchange becomes active. They might shift half of these, but I suspect S1D and half of S1E will be sadly empty.

Grandson phoned for 3 seats for his girlfriend and 2 of his mates but they couldn't get them together only odd seats scattered around so he didn't bother.

This is utterly mental -they really need to sort this aspect of it out. We all know that entire blocks will become available later in the week, and they've effectively turned people away.

Well 2 out of our 3 of us not going to this game.
Would imagine a few empty seats plus alot of colds and such like going around at the moment:drool:

Really? Surely not having a home game for a fair while would mean there will be a good turnout.

First home Saturday 3pm for a while, and not another AMEX Saturday game after it for 5 more weeks.

I would have thought it would be a popular one to get to

Probably going to be only the 3rd league game I've missed at the Amex because the only tickets available are in S1, which I refuse to pay £34 out of principle for what is probably the worst stand in the ground.

Hopefully they will release good/ticket exchange seats in a few days time.

Your shout Mr Kemal but Shirley a season ticket in somewhere like the north stand would have been better value for money... Even if you missed 10 games in the season you'd still come out on top.

It's stupid.

We had the same thing for the Brum game.

Ticketing policy is very poor. Lucky we have so many STH, otherwise we'd be playing in an empty stadium.

Yet when you look online sometimes there are loads of seats together , I think its a case of checking the availability of seats on a regular basis and when they appear either book online or phone and tell them the row and seat numbers that are unsold.

My Boro supporting mate reckons they've sold 1000, but he could be bullshitting I suppose.

There is a high amount of Middlesbrough fans living in the Brighton area - so they always do well numbers wise down here . I don't know why this is but I think it was explained on here last season. Incidentally I purchased my house in Hove over 20 years ago from a Smoggie, friends girlfriend is from Boro , old teacher was a Boro fan etc etc.

Looked on their forum earlier and they were claiming they had sold 1000 tickets which was all we would send them, that seemed a bit strange as i thought we to offer 2000 in the initial ticket release to all teams but who knows.
