I can see why he does, and so far it's always worked (apart from with the internal appointments, weird that). As well as keeping stability within the club it is also very hounourable of him to safeguard the jobs of Booker, Wilkins etc by making sure they are not got rid of by the new boss.
Do you not think that one day it might work against us? Either by way of someone not taking the job because of it, or just because the new man cannot work with the existing staff?
