Is Knight right to insist on the same backroom staff?

Got something to say or just want fewer pesky ads? Join us... 😊

I can see why he does, and so far it's always worked (apart from with the internal appointments, weird that). As well as keeping stability within the club it is also very hounourable of him to safeguard the jobs of Booker, Wilkins etc by making sure they are not got rid of by the new boss.

Do you not think that one day it might work against us? Either by way of someone not taking the job because of it, or just because the new man cannot work with the existing staff?

Thoughts?

slightly flawed already because, as I understand, people are told before they are interviewed that they have to work with existing backroom, so if they were against that, they wouldn't go to the interview.

Didn't say otherwise, did I? I was questioning whether or not Knight's stance puts off potential applicants.

Do pay attention. And go easy on the commas next time. ;)

40 applicants?

Adams, Taylor, Coppell and now McGhee would probably suggest otherwise.

think we should keep that bit of stability yes. also according to millwall fans the main problem with mcghee was him bringing archie knox in as no:2.

We want loyalty from the manager and the players, it is only right that the club should show the same attitude

Most of these players have earned it with two Championship medals to their credit during the time with the club. We are playing poorly at present, but can't take away the memories of what they have achieved
