Is Hammond Championship Quality

From the Argus I, and I'm assuming many others, believe that Dean rates himself as a good Championship player. However, I think this is another case of a player over-rating himself - this is not to say I dont think a Championship club will come in for him.

Dean is a decent player and is relatively key to the Albion, which is why are team is partly built around him. Yet when thrown into a Championship team, where he will be over-shadowed by better players, I dont think he will cope as well. He is by no means an OUTSTANDING League 1 player and needs at LEAST another season before he is classified as one.

One more season with Brighton and he may be a Championship level player, but not just yet; he will not be impossible to replace, infact, we may have already done so.

So no. A much improved player this year, but not Championship material.
