Not bad so far. Didn't expect to come rushing out of the blocks today but we seem to be just about keeping them at arms length though, and we have come close to unlocking the door ourselves on the odd occasion. However someone really needs to KICK Carlos Edwards, he seems to be the biggest creative threat for Ipswich.

Vicente may be tiring and perhaps we are too defensive...... if Vicente can saty on would take Dicker off for Noone, possibly harley for Vicente when he tires and Hoskins or Cook depending on where we are ahead, drawing or behind.

Harley has looked like a luxury player so far, not sure we can afford that at the moment. Really hope Vicente can last the rest of the game.

Well done Gus. The plan is working, Ipswich will feel the need to get forward in the second half leaving gaps for our boys to attack. Noone and Hoskins might make an appearance if the game does stretch.

Draw/Brighton is always a decent bet with our boys....lets hope it comes up today.

I agree but reckon hes been put ont he bench specifically to replace Vicente... Gus seems wedded to the creative midefielder tactic.

Seeing as we have had a good and a bad half in all our recent games, if that was the bad half we are going to win this, if it was the good half we may have a problem!

Hmm, he was absolute shit at Leicester, but Gus must think he is capable as he's got him on the bench.

See how Vicente's feeling, possibly swap him for Noone if he tires, and then if Barnes continues to be involved so little then perhaps bring on Hoskins.

I think the game plan was 0-0 at half time as others have said, and stretch it open in the second half.

Love this thread. Slagging off players via radio commentary
Dicker may be having a blinder for all we know.
