Attention all Turkey friends:

Event II Friday night. My goodbye bash.

I'm going to have to learn how to cook and wash things!!!

C'mon man, I know this is just another cry for help and to be honest I am the big man so here's some more advice from yer lovin' uncle Chem...

Cooking: f*** it. Make friends with the bloke behind the counter at your local takeaway and feel the love with pizzas, burgers and chips. It's no coincidence that the cheapest and most available food also tastes great when you're rendered.

Washing: f*** it. Lay the ground rules down to your flatmates quickly - "if there ain't no mould that washin' ain't old" and "if it ain't gone green there's no need to clean."

xx

Congrats and welcome to this fair City. I came here to Uni 9 years ago and stayed. Not a bad city, not quite as lively as the homeland but has everything you need. Only Hour and a half away as well. Good choice.

Just don't get accomadation in the St Mary's area of the City, as you will invariably be stabbed to death!

I would agree that it is pretty much a pointless degree.

...but being a student is one thing everyone has to experience in their lives, u never know Turkey u might get to kiss a girl??

My mates bird went there this year but left after someone got murdered, her mate got mugged and Southampton is generally a shithole!

And you'll have to put up with Pants Seagull.:lolol:

:salute:

The murder was quite scary from here actually, she was abducted about 200 yards from my house. Nowhere near where Turkey'll be though, going to the Institute

Hilarious Dwayne. :)

The course provides students with a range of transferable skills essential for professional employment after the degree. The research and writing elements of the degree provide graduates with presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills. The practical elements of the degree provide graduates with creative and organisational skills. Pathways into the media industries, the arts and public administration may be possible.

Tea or Coffee? One sugar or two?

Shall I walk to the job centre or get the bus?

Surely media jobs you start at the bottom and work your way up? However, go to Uni and have a good time.
