Not a chance, people grumble about Withdean, but if we had stayed in Gillingham another season I believe the club would have folded.

Why did we leave the Goldstone...umm, think it was because somebody wanted to build a retail park and there were no suitable brownfield sites in the area...just one covered in grass.

You are seriously trying to say that isnt true? With the money we were paying them and the small attendances we were getting, it was a miracle that we survived for the two seasons. The teams prefomaces didnt help either.

I am still waiting for canned heat to say when exactly we had a good team at Gillingham, because I only missed 1 game there in our tennancy and I cant rememebr a "good team " at all
