Now was there any need for the f***, and yes we could have won the league at Gillingham, we had a very good team.

Our team at Gillingham was utter shite. The team Adams rebuilt at Withdean (and won those championships) would never have signed in the first place if we had still been playing home games 70 miles away.

But otherwise, some great points. :dunce:

I give you the rankings in the Scars and Stripes Albion Player of the Season table, as at December 1998:-

1 Andy Arnott
2 Tony Browne
3 Mark Ormerod
4 Rod Thomas
5 Richie Barker
6 Ian Culverhouse
7 Gary Hart
8 Jeff Minton
9 Michael Bennett
10 Stuart Storer
11 Derek Allan

Good enough?

1: Bravo's on cable too - its owned by a f***ing cable company
2: Anywhere that doesn't let you have satellite dishes = breaking European law. You're either lying, or renting off a tyrant.
There is no cable where I live, and it is a listed building you are not allowed a f***ing WOK ON THE WALL.

you ARE allowed a dish on a listed building, you just have to get either Planning Permission or Consent from the owner.

now WHEN did we have a good team at Gilo?

Right Marc Seeing as you asked so nicely let me enlighten you,

The local council would not give permission.

The leaseholder who is an architect and gives lectures on Georgian architecture would no way give permission, and I don't blame him, I dont want people thinking I am on benefit cos I have a Wok on the wall after all it is a stunning Georgian building.

And as regards Gillingham the magic word was IF we had stopped there and IF MA came in and got the players that done the business for us at Withdean, thats what I meant IF IF IF we stayed at , but I never made that clear.

Never mind onward and upwards, and I have spent to long in my local this lunchtime, Sunday Roast and the Black Stuff mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm nice Veggies you dont know what you are missing.

We were an outside bet for the play-offs when horton left.

Nobby started the revival but many seem to conveniently forget that.

This thread is hypothetical as we could not stop at Gillingham and had to find alternative acomodation when we came back to Brighton. We tried Millwall without success.
