Let’s not forget that they should’ve been down to 10 men for the majority of the final, so it was hardly a deserved win either.

EErrr last time I checked, you nigels finished below us. So yes, over the league season, we are quite clearly better than Palace. Not only that, on paper, much better team bar say 3-4 players.

For those saying "UEFA will find a way to make it work", I'm less convinced. Ultimately there will still be a Premier League team in every slot, it's a question of who.
If Man Utd or Chelsea were involved, they'd 100% try and make sure the biggest commercial draw club came through. But is there a huge difference between us, Palace and Forest in this regard? I'd argue there isn't. Certainly not enough that I think UEFA would bend the rules to favour one over the other.

Hopefully they can't if UEFA stick to their rules. So the Europa League will be one team down. If the EPL need to provide another team I'd assume it would be Forest. Then that means a Europa Conference spot available? Straw grasping here

It will be bad enough for them to be kicked out, and 100x worse if we then get admitted instead.
