What was a police horse doing in the back of the car with Charlie boy?

Wasn't it Fran Sandaza with a frock on ? ??? Why did they have the car windows open , anyone with a pistol could have shot HRH Prince of Wales stone dead before the armed protection squad could intervene.

Yes, loads of those degrees are pointless. AI isn't the forfront of computing, computer systems engineering isn't important with the growth in the smartphone software and industry. Windows and mac aren't engaged in a ever growing war where the computer system is fast defining what people buy. Vets aren't needed or anything. Psychology isn't changing peoples lives as we pinpoint what causes mental health issues in later life.

Bollocks is it. Since you don't swear an oath of loyalty in this country, I'd argue its hard to really say anything is treason. But by attacking one old man who doesn't make any decisions, are you in any way attempting to betray or subvert the UK - e.g. its lawmaking government, military etc? No.

It has nothing to do with swearing an oath. It is to do with the law, and this country has some very ancient laws, which still stand. One of them is the Treason Act 1351, which counts as treason:
# "when a man doth compass or imagine the death of our lord the King, or of our lady his Queen or of their eldest son and heir";
# "if a man do violate the King’s companion, or the King’s eldest daughter unmarried, or the wife of the King’s eldest son and heir"

Prince Charles is more than just an "old man". He is the heir to the throne and will be King when the Queen dies. He already undertakes some of the Queen's duties. The Monarch is more than just a figurehead to this land.

Under our Constitutional Monarchy, the power of the State is equally divided into the executive, legislature and judiciary, so that none has more power than the other two. The executive is the Government, with the Prime Minister as Head of Government and the Monarch as Head of State. Her role is still more than nominal and she represents or symbolises us, the people. The legislature is Parliament. The judiciary is the court system which acts in the name of the monarch. Incidentally, the recent Labour Government managed to destabilise all three branches which will have a lasting effect on this country because they have changed its very constitution.

Why did they have the car windows open.

It was Thursday! In the interest of public sacrifice, HRH no longer employs a window winder up man on Thursdays, so there was no one available to do it for him.

Hang on, I hope your not suggesting that HRH should wind his own window up ? you filthy leftist/anarchist republican scum! next you'll be suggesting that he gets rid of the servant that towells him down after his bath, or the man that wears his new cloths for him untill they are all soft and nice so the royal skin doesn't get chaffed.

Unfortunately its very much falling on deaf ears, this common sense lark. Unless you want to be (a) a doctor, (b) a lawyer or (c) an engineer, NSC thinks you're a thieving scumbag. I did Media Studies. It's the absolute whipping boy for this argument. But the people taking the piss haven't got a clue what it is, "just watching TV or summat". I've given up justifying it.

The most logical explanation I can come up with is Camilla had too many pickled eggs at lunchtime and Charles was trying to get rid of the pong.

Its a shame. Of course anything that isn't science law or banking is a doss subject. Advertising and Media are not important you see, it can't make or break a product. nope. No way.

Exactly, our mining, car manufacturing and agriculture are booming after all. Its not like our economy is largely running on new-age industries or anything. All this 'retail' bullshit which requires design and branding etc, it only brings in mere billions to the country's finances. None of that matters. Unless you want to do Latin at Cambridge, you can f*** right off.

Democracy triumphed yesterday. Despite the vicious thuggery shown by the students, the forces of law and order saw them off. Now why don't you get back to studying, which is what you're supposed to be at college for after all?

It amazes me that people are getting so much criticism for getting off their arses and making a stand about the shit the government throw at them.

i am especially amazed by those with the reason that they are struggling and being taxed by the same government. If that is the case then get off your arse and join the protest! you can be sure that those people in parliment or the city are not being affected by the recession in the same way as you, so go and make a stand.

Or at least don't criticise those that are!

How well put was this in The Sun today?

And the chant outside the Treasury "We want our money back!"

How ridiculous, you never EVER have paid any taxes.

Yes, but most people actually support this government, and realise it's doing what needs to be done to clear up the mess the socialists have got us into. I've never taken to the streets in protest but if need be I'll be there to back the forces of law and order in crushing the anarchist/leftist student scum.

Don't you f***ing DARE say "democracy triumphed". If democracy triumphed then how the f*** can the Lib Dems have voted this policy through? They might not have a mandate in government but they have one to their local constituents.

You know nothing of what a democracy is if you think a party elected on a personal pledge (because lets face it the Lib Dems would be nothing without the student vote) going back is in any way democratic places like Zimbabwe might suit you very nicely.

Well what would you call a vote in The House of Commons you foolish child? I realise that you students think democracy means getting what you want but that isn't how it works. DEMOCRACY TRIUMPHED YESTERDAY; now get back to studying!

Democracy FAILED yesterday.
The students put their trust in to Lib Dems, and they have betrayed us. Democratic? The process relies on trust. What happened in Commons was a farce, and has shattered my generations trust in the system to work. We have a vote. We make a decision based on their manifesto. The LibDem manifesto and the personal pledges were to not vote yes on a rise in tution fees. They then betrayed that promise.

Tell me, is that a democracy?

Oh no wait, as long as it's students, f*** them. They can get betrayed. All the need is a pot f***ing noodle, some booze and an xBox. On tax payers money. Because no students have jobs. We don't do jobs. We just f***ing leach even though some of us have the prospect of a three mile walk in to work, just because they want money. Democracy was shat upon yesterday.

You're quite right, it was a democratic vote in the House of Commons. But the Lib Dems owe a massive debt in terms of the vote they received in the GE from the student populus. They were voted in and then changed their minds, thus completing corroding the very core of the democratic process by which they got any power in the first place. That might be the cause of the anger? But never mind, its very much a lost cause with people like you.

By the way, your signature says 'manners maketh the gentleman'. Fantastic manners, showing great respect to your common man there. "foolish child", "get back to studying!", you're a credit to your generation. Here's one for you.

Arrogant moron.

Get down off your pedestal you self-important prick. Good enough?

Oran's Dictionary of the Law (1983) defines treason as "...[a]...citizen's actions to help a foreign government overthrow, make war against, or seriously injure the [parent nation]." Since it is highly unlikely that any foreign government paid someone to go boo to camilla or throw a can of paint at a car, it isnt treason.

I know you think you know a lot. but using lots of words and putting them into some kind of order just means you have an opinion. Checking your facts before you post helps a lot.

OMG someone with a Media Studies degree thats even worse than a Social Science degree according to the toryboys and girls of NSC. Did you have it paid for by the tax payers, cos they'll want you burned at the stake if you did.
