Hatred and vitiol?! Not from what I've seen. If you prefer to go to Roundstone Garden Centre and watch egg-chasing on a Saturday afternoon that's fine. Leave the Albion for those of us that still have a 'full on relationship' with the Club.

In fairness the levels of abuse aimed at Adams should not come within a million miles of the abuse rightly aimed at Archer and Stanley. I want Adams gone but some of the comments on here would make you think he was the anti christ rather than a past his sell by date manager.

Sopt on, I think alot of the comments about Micky have been vastly over the top and unneccessarily harsh. He might not be doing a good job as our manager, but he's not killed someone, or done anything unspeakably bad! Perspective people, there have been worse people in charge of our football club...

This thread is well out of order.

Harty is simply contrasting a pleasant day out at the rugby with all the shit and baggage that comes with the Albion, and he states clearly the Albion will always be his first love.

The guy has a family and runs his own business and his priorities in life have changed - he is a similar age to me, and I know how hard it is to be self-employed with a couple of kids.

I don't agree with his view on Adams, but I usually do concur on most stuff. So what? Football's about opinions.

Give him credit for carrying the torch when we needed it in the dark days, and lay off the person attacks - he's ten times the fan you are IBF.

I do watch Harlequins Rugby League team play during the summer but I would never put them first over the albion. The albion are for life.

I dont subscribe to that view at all. I support this club and have done for 34 odd years, however I have no problem missing games to do other things, like go and watch London Irish. Football has become something else I do. It has failed to be the be and end of my life.

Hatred and vitriol? They have no part in my involvement in football in general and the Albion in particular.

Criticism, certainly. But hatred? That's much too strong for anyone involved with the Albion...except Archer and Bellotti.

If supporting your club has become less fun you can blame the results, the stadium, the manager, the players, the chairman, Archer, whatever...but ultimately it's about your own mindset when you go to the ground to watch a game of football, and how you follow your team the rest of the week.

If watching Brighton is making some fans that angry, maybe it would be better if they did something else.
