I Hope Wilkins Bans The Players From Here

Got to agree with you now will be VERY lucky if we do hit top six and i think it will take a lot of other teams results to go our way.

What about next season?

I said "lackadaisical" because they SHOULD have started this match with pedal to the metal - it was a full house, they were watched by two sets of Albion Legends ( ), and they are going for playoffs. EVERY incentive contained in the pre-match, but sadly lacking on the pitch.

Next season?
Well, we 'might' look at this season as a reasonable success in hindsight;- little to no money spent, surviving a couple of player/agent revolts mid-season, unfettered for the most part by key injuries, yet still managing to vie for a playoff place! All in all, those facts are against many odds and beyond many expectations.
I think we will spend a little more of next season in the playoffs, than we did this one.
That is providing a few new lads are brought in, and can add to the assets we do have already.

I don't think it was the defeat Easy, but more the manner of it.
I for one think Wilkins should take as much blame as the players, due to his not changing his formation. He changed the players but kept the diamond, when we were crying out for some width in my opinion.
We started off playing 4-4-2, we changed to the diamond 2-0 down! And did pick up a bit at least. Maybe he should have changed it again in the second half when they took control, but really I think this was such an awful performance in every aspect that any such change would have made little difference.

Agreed we fell asleep for the first 20 mins or so. Like you said the incentives were there and we just didn't seem to want it until the last 10 mins. In front of a lot of potential new fans and the legends as well!!!

Next season unless a miracle happens and we do go up then i see a definate promotion chance i think a few will go this year and less will come in but a better quality. My only worry with that is injuries/suspensions.

Would like to see Westlake Racon and Richards signed permanetly if the price was right maybe Martot too.

Tuesday night will confirm whether we still have any chance or not.

I shouldn,t worry. If Thomsons intelligence, matches his skill and courage on the football pitch, he wont even have the ability to switch a computer on,...never mind working his way onto to NSC.
