Palace are on the decline, your club is skint and playing in a dilapidated rented stadium in a nasty run down suburb in the worst part of London. Your 'glory' days are over, you'll do well to survive. You have NOTHING to look forward to, except perhaps playing us as we look over our shoulders as we pass you by. It could be time we found a proper rival, who'll be able to hold onto our coat tails as we go stellar. Team of the eighties, stuck in the eighties:wave:

So tempted to save that quote for use in a few years time to make you look stupid. Remember how excited you were a few short weeks ago not to be relegated to the lowest tier.

Not here, we have to keep some clothes on!

Yeah, you need pockets to hide six bottles of Buckfast in, drunken sweaty sock tw*ts

Imagine moving to Aberdeen, but if you're from Croydon then even Aberdeen must seem pleasant. Enjoy your summer, it'll be winter there in two days :p

I am ENGLISH. I moved to Aberdeen as its a lovely part of Britain, and very wealthy. Croydon is my home town and as such I am very attached to it, much like you with Brighton.

Weegies drink Buckfast, we are much more refined up in the north.

And as for "sweaty sock tw*ts", I agree:D

Err..your rival team could have been Lewes FC not so long ago.

As a Croydonian born and bred I think your analogy to the surroundings of Selhurst is pure vindictive bile.
Most Brighton fans I think accept now that this pure unblinkered dislike of Palace is old hat, and that we all have better things to do.
Palace do have a problem atm, that problem is Simon Jordan. But a football club is bigger than one man, or two if you want to remember the Archer/Bellotti days.
If we get a manager like Steve Coppell, the future is good, we're only one division away from the big-time and we've spent a total of a over dozen seasons there. We've pulled home crowds of up to 50,000 and regularly got over 25,000 in the top league.
Let's just see what crowds you actually get in at Falmer, shall we?

No worries, you have a good sense of humour, you'll need it if you're in Pittodrie when the Old Firm are visiting, any plans on watching the Dons?

I don't hate Palace, I'm indifferent, though I'd love us both in the same league - youse are bloody deid in Furze Hill pal!! :ascarf:

No, I have been to Pittodrie a few times, but stupidly adopted Inverness Caley Thistle as my team (red and blue kit!!)
Its freezing at the Tulloch even on the nicest summer day!

I agree that I would you to be in our division again, but please try to stay there this time:D

Call me a hopeless optimist, but I'm hoping for a trip to Wembley next year and we'll be there. Don't meet us on the way down

Be my guest, I'd be delighted. You'll be able to remember how prophetic I have been.

The truth hurt's eh Nige?

What I wrote has been the kind of shit we've endured for the past twenty years from you lot. The fact that you are being somewhat defensive in your reply suggests to me that I might not be too far off the mark. I guess time will show who is right, but it feels to us Brighton supporters like the tide has turned.

But you was nearly relegated last season, that means you was pretty much shit.

I can't argue with that, but alot has changed since the start of last season. I'm looking to the future, and it ain't blue and red.
