One day you might discover that baseball is a fine game-far better than cricket could ever dream of being. All it needs is the blinkers being removed...not all things/sports American/North American are bad/rubbish/inferior. Being so insular is very unhealthy.

just got back from my first winter training session.

Baseball is absolute drivel! I saw the Yankees play the Indians at the Yankee Stadium last month, and nearly fell asleep in the process. You get absolutely ripped off in the ground as well - a burger and fries is something like $10, bottle of Becks is $8 and an ice cream is $4.50...

The fans are so amazed if someone manages to hit the ball properly, and I can't imagine how they can all cope to watch it for over two hours.
