Last season the Albion were poor.
They were poor under the first manager, and didn't improve under Hughton.
You could even make a decent case for being worse.

They scored less than a goal a game, made considerably worse when taking into account seven goals came in 2 games.

So far this window the club as bought in defenders to strengthen one of the strongest defences in the division, and a comparatively cheap forward from Spain.

What possible reason can you have for not thinking that team won't finish 2 (just two) places lower than last season.

The only think in the clubs favour is the fact it's in the Championship.
Which completely nullifies the original point.

TBH I now think you're even wrongerer, I wouldn't be surprised if we were promoted or relegated by Christmas.
Much the same as over half the division.

I would be very happy if I predicted 4 teams into their actual finishing position.

We were lucky to stay up last season and haven't improved our weak areas so 23rd is a reasonable prediction I'd say.
