May be repeating myself here but in the early seventies I used to go to the Whitehawk pub with one pound.
I could have four pints of lager or five pints of mild :drink:
Had some hard b#####d block my BLACK MK2 CORTINA in once
I fronted him up and he moved his brand new CAPRI out of the way:ohmy: phew:drink:

I'm thinking around 25p in the mid-70s. Mind you the beer was so foul in lots of Watney-type pubs in those days, I probably had lager more often. Made my nose fizz.

About £1.80ish I think circa 1996/7. And that was for Stella.

Used to go clubbing at the Event on a Thursday and it was 80p a pint of Hofmeister and £1 for bottles of Dacoda. Used to get hammered and stil be able to get home on £15. My tab in the pub nowadays is about £35 jus for me on a session. Not including the missus and without food

I think it was about 70p for a pint of Whitbread Tankand around 1980

2x pints of Lager and 1x pint of Bitter = 55p

Seems ridiculous now but we objected when it went over 50p ... about 1969 I believe.

About a quid I think when I was 18 (1988). Mostly though people were buying litre bottles of Grunhalle or Merrydown for £1.10 and going round each others houses or down the beach (this was in Cornwall).
