Excellent weather for solar harvesting. I took in over 15kwh each of the last 2 days.
Indeed, I exported nearly 10Kwh yesterday.

Shame it hasn't been windier, as we were still quite reliant on gas to make up the difference.

How does the battery fully charge overnight ?
You can set it to charge from the grid. It depends on what tariff you are on though - not worth doing if you're on a fixed rate as the import tariff is more than the export one.

A lot of people are on economy 7 type tariffs where they get a cheaper rate over night. Octopus also do an 'Agile' tariff (we're on this) that tracks the half hourly wholesale price, which means sometimes the price hits the cap, and sometimes goes negative for a while, at which point I charge the battery, stick the immersion on, make a cup of tea and so on!

This weather is annoying me, as I had to empty my water butt to move it a couple of weeks ago, and there's still barely anything in it.

Incredible how much of an impact it has on mood and life generally. Being able to take the dog out in the evenings as the sun sets (and not have to worry about him getting mud everywhere), drive with the sunroof open and for the kids to be content playing in the garden have all made my life feel much better in the last week.
It definitely has an impact on mood and life generally. I've been enjoying getting up early with a cup of coffee and either watching the sun rise or just sitting in the sun collecting my thoughts before the day starts. It really puts me in good place.

And in fact, i've just had one of those moments at work where someone is really arrogant and sends an email that makes your blood boil. There's a ton of things i want to say to put this person in their place, but instead I went and made myself another coffee and sat outside in the sun for ten minutes. I already feel better, and lost interest in responding to them.

That’s a good philosophy to carry over into life in general and NSC in particular, I find.

Battery fully charged last couple of days. Caught the sun on my forehead and got a wind chill in my back.

Not got the shorts on yet, staying with big boy trousers for now

Top advice, I wish I could do this more but it takes practice. Well done mind, and good for you. Winner! :)

Pain in the arse for dog walking though, the smell of wet dogs in car, house etc plus extra chore of cleaning up eats into the day. Still, all fun!
Indeed, especially when you own the "Bry Nylon of dogs" and he looks at you all enthusiastically when it's chucking it down  :wrong: :lolol:

Its shite because it feels a sunny spring is always followed by a rainy summer.

March and April are the driest months of the year in the UK. Not a lot of people know that (Michael Caine voice)

Odd weather.

My back garden has got the kind of cracks in it you'd expect to see in August. Yet it's been too cold to hang around outside yet
