From the grid. We only pay 7p/kwh overnight and we get paid 15p/kwh for daytime export, so it's on our Interest to export as much as possible during the sunny days. How does the battery fully charge overnight ?
Indeed, I exported nearly 10Kwh yesterday.Excellent weather for solar harvesting. I took in over 15kwh each of the last 2 days.
You can set it to charge from the grid. It depends on what tariff you are on though - not worth doing if you're on a fixed rate as the import tariff is more than the export one.How does the battery fully charge overnight ?
It definitely has an impact on mood and life generally. I've been enjoying getting up early with a cup of coffee and either watching the sun rise or just sitting in the sun collecting my thoughts before the day starts. That’s a good philosophy to carry over into life in general and NSC in particular, I find. And in fact, i've just had one of those moments at work where someone is really arrogant and sends an email that makes your blood boil. There's a ton of things i want to say to put this person in their place, but instead I went and made myself another coffee and sat outside in the sun for ten minutes. I already feel better, and lost interest in responding to them.
Pain in the arse for dog walking though, the smell of wet dogs in car, house etc plus extra chore of cleaning up eats into the day. Still, all fun!I like rain
