Last ten years or so in asbestos consultancy.
Still a lot of asbestos about - and sometimes not known to be there, even today. Can seriously devalue property when found on a survey.

A good read everyone, many thanks. Stereo-typically we should all be hairdressers, air stewards or male dancers (no slur intended on any of my gay friends I promise) just good to see such a diverse range of professions.

I also think a Milkman is an interesting job and one that is sadly on it's last legs. Well done my friend on making my kids teeth strong and our cornflakes taste great.

I'm a lisping gay hairdressing airline steward and part time ballet dancer if it helps?

soon to be ex-teacher and heading into the heady world of corporate training...
any good folk accountants? self-employedom beckons and I wish to start off knowing all ins and outs.... pm welcome if you are, or can recommend anyone local
if all goes pete tong - im going to beg to hart's shirt for a job too!!

Well RG, we are currently recruiting...

But seriously, good luck for self-employment in corporate training. If you've got any questions about starting a business and the potential pitfalls, then I'm sure there's a lot of NSC who can give you the benefit of their varying experiences.

7 years on and it's still the best employment decision I've ever made.
