Unless you're on a subscription with back up, utterly poiontless . . . .same as car alarms. No one takes any notice. I had a neighbour with one once, would not shut up. We were outside at 2 am smacking shit out of it with gold clubs.

Police eventually turned up, nothing they could do but did ask us to be careful to not damage the house.

......except for Wednesdays, when I’m rudely awakened by the dustman.
