Has he done much? I mean I know the Queen didn't exactly do a lot towards the end of her life, but I don't know if I've really seen much aside from funeral and coronation?
He had 181 public engagements in 2022, but of course many of those would have been before he became King. He will have more ceremonial duties re. foreign dignitaries and also the weekly meetings with the PM and other constitutional duties, so I dare say his public appearances may have dropped a bit.

It’s been a great year for the King and Queen. But prefer the Red Lion if pressed.

A year with no new family peado allegations breaking deserves some praise.
Does this mean they have been behaving or the palace has done a good job feeding the press enough tit bits about Harry and Megan to keep them quiet about any peadoing.

I reckon it should have gone down to a eurovision style competition to vote the next monarch in personally, wuloukd have created carnage when the public voted in Markel as Queen and Prince Andrew as the Queen mother.

Swindon, but used to be Manila
When I joined the Royal Navy I swore allegiance to the Queen. I assume that’s lapsed now so he can bog off.
Afraid not

“I swear by almighty God that I will be faithful and bear true
allegiance to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, her heirs and
successors and that I will as in duty bound honestly and
faithfully defend her Majesty, her heirs and successors in
person, crown and dignity against all enemies and will
observe and obey all orders of her Majesty, her heirs and
successors and of the generals and officers set over me.”
