As MA said the keeper is paid to stop shots how he does it and how often is immaterial. That is his job so as in this case he did what he is paid to do. Lets hope he continues to do so.

Jesus H Christ, that is total bollocks, if we adhere to that then we don't celebrate a goal scored by a striker as that is what they are paid to do. In fact the notion you've just put forward pretty much kills football as a spectator sport as we can get excited watching someone do what they are paid to do. In fact we can't enjoy a good acting performance in a film as they are just doing what that are paid to do. You and Micky Adams are both talking out of your backsides.

Just get over the fact you've been proved wrong about the save Stockdale made on Tuesday night and move on. It was a great save that he deserves praise for, nothing to do with him just doing what he's paid to do.
