OK, so I'm not the first to use this phrase (was it Norman Lamont?) but I feel that Joe G's 4 goals today might just be the making of him. Sure, he's still got some way to go, but I also remember a certain P Ward scoring loads for the reserves before he ever got a look at the first team. If he can develop his goalscoring at this level then he might just be ready to move back up by November or December. We've also got some very good prospects in Chamberlain and Fraser (and even Loft) coming through.
Everyone's pretty down at the moment, and the latest developments aren't helping, but I just think that perhaps we can start to see a little light ahead - as long as it isn't the train coming the other way!
