What's the betting they get relegated, appeal the decision in 28 days time, and get the points back, meaning Exeter or Tranmere go down instead
Surely we should be awarded the game!
Good, good. Now they just need to sort their rules out because, in effect, we will now have only played 45 games this season.
(see, we can fit in righteous indignation, whatever the result)
Then Exeter or Tranmere appeal the decision and it gets over turned again. Resulting in a summer of chaos over shadowing Englands World Cup win.

This is Gus' point and I agree with him.You say half in jest I know, but what if Liddle had scored the winner in that match ?
Should the punishment (and lack of benefit for us) be any different just because he didn't make the scoresheet ?

I wonder if Ken Brown will be asking for our fans to be recompensed for admission money?
No, course he won't! Fans are just mugs who shell out and reap the consequences.
Leaves them 1 point above relegation zone, with Tranmere at Stockport (3 points is a huge possibility in a game that means nothing for Stockport), Exeter at home to Huddersfield (Exeter good at home, Huddersfield poor away and only playing for play off position) and Hartlepool playing away at Brentford, i wouldnt be at all suprised if Hartlepool were relegated saturday.
