well if true, long and short of it is this move is nothing to do with playing in the championship and all about a move for the sake of a move - ie probably more in the agents interest than Hammonds. I'll bet what ever was on the table last summer still is, but the agent wont let that stand. Hammond is a product of the youth team and liked by the fans and there's no rumour of a fall out with team or manager. So financial security isnt an issue, playing in the championship isnt an issue (well, for 4 months) and he isnt "unsettled" so one can only assume this is all due to the agent burning bridges.

250K seems a fair price, hopefully with a few add ons would be acceptable. Also Elder going to brentford, is a definite good business deal. Espically making a tidy profit on what we orginally brought him for. Hopefully now we can increase our offer for the Chesterfield Captain today, and bring in another exciting prospect.
