To answer the original question, he has ages.

Sunderland were always aware that the next group of fixtures were the key ones in terms of getting them going.

Nowich (H)
Everton (A)
Cardiff (A)
Villa (H)
Carlisle (H) (FA CUP)
Fulham (A)
Southamptoin (H)
Stoke (H)
Newcastle (A)
Hull (H)

Fast forward 3 fixtures and they then have

Palace (H)
Norwich (A)
W Ham (H)

A lovely run of fixtures in all honesty.

Not sure if this is good news for Sunderland - a bit of a distraction. Who wants to get to a Cup Final and then get relegated, eh...?

they haven't got there yet..bit of a gap between now and the semis....so i'd say beating chelsea and especially from a goal behind should help confidence for the league games

I really think he will keep them up. They are already starting to show signs of playing the Gus way. Of course, it will depend who he signs in Jan, but here's hoping he keeps his hands off our best players.
