If poyet goes it'll hardly be the end of the world. He's a limited manager who frequently gets his team selection and tactics wrong.
And there'll be a queue of good managers who will want to come to Brighton

The man who has taken us further up the league every season he has been here? That limited manager?

We were not at the races. I have a theory Gus may be going to Everton and players knew that.

well if beating palace 3 nil was his best moment at brighton, he'd be hard pushed to find a worse one than this.

I really don't understand his reaction, after all it was his team playing, so maybe he did not motivate them enough, just saying.

People need to listen to the whole thing. He's clearly upset and saying he wants to 'higher the roof' ie raise the quality and standards if I've got that right. Why do people think that he will be off.surely Zola's stock is higher than his at present. Its all very disappointing but we need to build a promotion quality team for next season. We've had that for the last 3 months but we need to have a better squad for the whole year. The one thing that we should remember is that continuity is important.... Just look at the retiring Ferguson.
Anyone who questions today needs to look back to the 77-78 season when we just lost out on promotion, but we came back stronger the next season stronger and got portion. It's painful, but we need to look to the future.

He was going to be sacked whether or not we were promoted. A manager can not show complete disrespect to his employers, and expect to stay.
