Tennis should be banned anyway. And football. And the NBA stars. In fact, anyone for whom this isn't the biggest deal in their life. How people like Murray can look their GBR team-mates in the eye in the village is beyond me, the others have strained every sinew for four years, he's there because, well, why not, I mean it's something to do for a week until the US Open isn't it?

Negative snobbery.Boring.No doubt you think the 2012 money should be spent on health/education/transport/warheads etc so probably don't agree that golf, rugby and cricket should be Olympic events.
What 20yr old kid wouldn't want to be part of this, regardless of his wealth? you speak as though Murray hasn't work to get where he is or "strained every sinew" himself.
Anyway i think we're doing very very well and we haven't even got on to our specialist subjects yet but i think we've had our Redgrave style iconic moment of the games with the womens 400m final. As with then the commentating was equally as memeorable.Watch it again on the BBC website and tell me you don't get goosebumbs.

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
A gritty comeback against the unfancied Austrian. Two sets down and things did not look too good, despite not being broken, but rallied well and ended up winning quite clearly. Into the fourth round. C'mon Andy!
