He's losing easily against a genuine top ten player so the question is, what "injury" is he going to blame?

I'll go with big toe.

Cheerio Andy you golly haired scotch plum.

This'll be the match that invariably happens to the Brits.. 2 love down turned into a 2-3 win... except that Henman usually did it the other way round... in semis...

If ANY of our sporting " heroes " ( English ) showed 10% of the desire and passion Murray showed tonight we may not be a nation of complete fecking no hopers. Inspirational.

I think today was the first time the Wimbledon crowd have really warmed to Murray- prior to that, I always got a sense they were a bit reserved, mainly because he wasn't Dear Timmy.

Fair play to him, he earned that today.

Anyone else cringe when they hear tennis crowds chanting though? Their songs are the ones eleven year old public schoolgirls sing to their chums at netball games...

"Murray!" clap clap clap "Murray!" clap clap clap

I half expected a chorus of "two, four, six, eight, who do we appreciate? Murray!"
