Good to see everyone signing up.
Most of the missions online require some kind of co-operation - When you play click on the invite Crew option so you can play with people you know rather than total strangers - also when in crew you earn more points.
You can also have inter-crew challenges - best lap times/shooting range score etc.

How many of those who have sign up use a headset?

Crew website says Already Invited, you can accept invite or sign up directly here http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/crew/nsc_-_seagulls/gtav if you are already part of R* Social Club
