Filling in the holes at Rottingdean Pitch & Putt, so a few pensioners can't use the facility in the close season. Pathetic.

There are no flags out anyway, so it makes it hard work to play in the first place. I expect these old chaps would be willing to pay, if it was maintained year round.

We need a break from Kit-Cat.

Does this show the "golf" between the Greens and the real world ?

According to the report in the Argus, the guy from the council was filling them in while they were playing.

Been put down as a health and safety issue, if someone injures themselves whilst playing the council are liable according to their spokesman.

What a load of bull.

This should be challenged on the basis it isn't a health and safety issue.

According to the Argus, the lease has expired but it was a bit much to fill the holes in with cement whilst someone was actually playing.

Absolutely nothing to do with the Green Party, as is 95% of the other rubbish they are blamed for.

Most of the decisions they are blamed for are not made in the chamber and many of those they are involved in come from all party sub-committee's

As someone who has worked closely with councillors of all parties, I find the crap people spew from the Argus pages irksome.

Why are they complaining? Just need to take a trowel with them in the morning and dig up the plugs. Gardening and golf- a pensioners dream.

Is it correct that the new seats (especially in NE side, which has been ready for a while) are not being allowed to be installed because the council have stopped the project due to H&S?
Apparently to do with structure strength.

So the party which is supposed to 'run the Council' doesn't. Hardly shock news. But of course the Greens get the blame, they are crap in soooo many ways. And no, I would never in a million years have voted them in - pretty obvious that a party wth such a narrowly-focussed agenda is not ever going to be able to run the day-to-day boring stuff properly.
