This is also a example of NO ATMOSPHERE as its basically an exhibition match, which BECKHAM should be playing.

Pearce was a terrible appointment, it makes me shudder he's our U21 coach. As granny said the blokes a clown and a complete dinosaur, wouldn't be surprised if this was a rout.

Fashionistas sneer at football kit design but that GB effort by Stella McCartney is a horrible mess.

This is basically Brazil's first team don't forget.

I think Team GB are coping much better then the England squad would IMO.

Pearce has done well with the U21's so I don't understand how this is a bad appointment...

The Euros only had 16 as well.

My point, entirely. The 16 best teams in Europe out of 50 ish nations, Olympic footy, 16 from 200 ish including New Zealand, Gabon and Honduras ? stitch up

Because maybe people actually enjoy watching football...

Just a thought.
Judging by the responses on this thread, there's not much football going on.

Maybe some people either don't like cycling, or have already seen the result (Cav won the stage, Wiggins still leads overall if anyone was wondering)?
Of course, but it was an incredibly impressive win.
Ideal viewing for any sports fan.

That happens in a lot of games, with the most high profile of teams sometimes...
I can't comment as I'm not watching.
My point was, compared to other sporting events currently available this meaningless game, 3 weeks after the Euros, seems very..... well .....meaningless.

It doesn't matter if it's 'meaningless' , it's still football and a quite a few top names in football playing, still quite interesting IMO.
