Yeah, but look at us last season. DK took too long to 'sack' Hinshelwood and that arguably cost us Div 1 football.

Can't argue with that.

And he could have done it after the same result as West Ham just had. That would have been better for us.

Agreed. Just hope the West Ham board don't have the same idea as DK and go for Coppell!!!

Just been Listening to talksport and a few West ham fans are saying possible replacements.... George Graham, and Steve Coppell.

Really does pee me off with teams keep being linked to our players or manager.

I'm not worryed as I know Coppell will stay :)

It's a tricky one where nobody comes out well. West Ham should really have sacked him last season. In a way they are to be commended to sticking by him through his illness. Of course there comes a time where they have to stop being sentimental because it's detrimental to the club as a whole, but they're then slated for sacking him so shortly after his recovery.

I don't feel sorry for West Ham at all, f**k 'em, but I do think it's been difficult for all concerned.

We have a great club, and nfortunatly being rather small, biggre clubs can tempt our stars away with money, etc. Am sure SC will stay, but if not, then I'll hate him as much as Peter Taylor.

things like this make me realise how lucky we are, roeder was never a top class manager but the west ham board stuck by him all through last season, this season they win they're first 3 games then happen to lose away...to rotherham!.The west ham board wont spend any money, defoe & carrick will leave and brookings already said he dosen't want the job,we might be swapping places next year...

Vey harsh I think. There will be other teams who lose to Rotherham this season.

I think it's crazy to sack a manager just three games into a season anyway,

What about a quality manager like Bryan Robson - some two years plus after leaving Borough and still no job !

Peter Talyor is a shit.

Agree, quality post, made me chuckle

SC is an honorable man and will stay

he will be linked to every job that comes up this season

price to pay for having a quality manager

Not surprised he has gone, but perhaps a little surprised by the timing. I guess he would have been sacked sooner by the board if he had not become seriously ill. But after one defeat seems harsh, but the fans on Sky Sports News seem to have sky high expectations and with the board selling the best players I guess they felt they needed someone else to come in.

By Kember joining the Hammers and allowing Alan Smith to make a glorious return to Palace?
