Props for saying that and keeping a straight face. :D

How much do you owe Tony? How much are you losing each year? What is the business model for use of the Amex? etc, etc.

It's easy to chuckle after you fluked your promotion. But had you failed, you'd be struggling down here in the Championship with your 13,000 crowds and your rickety shack of a stadium. Your debts would have been horrendous. In fact, your top brass would probably have decided to fleece St John's ambulance once again or some other unsuspecting charity by now.

How would our debts be horrendous ? We got promoted , with the aid of wilfs transfer fee , in profit so that's just nonsense . The rest of your post is pent up anger again !

We would indeed be struggling, along with most other clubs in the Championship. But we don't hold ourselves up as a shining example of administrative probity. The idea that Brighton is some kind of financial template for everyone else does not bear up under scrutiny.

The clue was in the words "HAD YOU FAILED..."

It's not pent up anger when I call you a simpleton, by the way. It's because that's what you are.

The financial template has been set by FFP, we live within it.

Oh I agree. But of course there are various degrees of financial mismanagement and to be absolutely clear on this, your club is among the worst. You've even ripped off the St Johns Ambulance. Twice.

That Wilf money would have covered that season, take that out and you would have had a loss of around 10 million, so it follows you would have had a loss the next season, or have had to cut your squad.

We were going in 2 year cycles , after 2 years we would have to sell a player or players if we didn't progress .
