Its a strange one with the pikeys, they really do hate us, I mean like you hate palace, but we really dont give a shit about them, thing is we do have a fair size amount of "lads" to use a cockernee phrase and if they think its going to be a fun day out they will obviously turn out, but it really is a one sided rivalry.

I long for the days oxford united can get there f***ing act together and start behaving like a football team instead of postmen and milkmen and we can get a proper derby going again, its been too long and there is a whole generation of fans that have never seen us play our main rivals.

Gillingham and Swindon have disliked each other since the 80s haven't they?

The facts that neither team have a got a "proper" league rival and the fact that this fixture was on the opening day and you could see it all kicking off there really.
you what!! how about throwing Bristol rovers into the equation................ oooooooooooops Simster from Riegate

Good to see the mighty Billy Paynter getting off the mark. Would you please hurry up and drop Lescinel though, seriously. He was given the run around by Zola in the Roberts game last season, both my friend and myself couldn't believe how poor he looked that night... and then got retained in the summer! Kennedy is the only option at left back, surely.

Other than my outsider feedback, I just wanted to interject my "knowledge" on the Gillingham rivalry, I thought it had something to do with a play-off game of some kind? But I find that a little bit hard to believe to be honest, because the play-offs haven't been going long enough for you to have played them, surely? I doubt they were in the play-offs in order to get into the Prem back in 1993? Or am I wrong?

Oh right ok, I didn't know they had play-offs back in the year of my birth! Good to know, I now need to apologise to her and tell she was right.

But that wasn't the start of the troubles, so technically she was wrong too, and that'll do for me!
