One of my favourite type of landscapes. Sun dappled country lanes. Lovely shot.

The one good thing about night shifts is I get to see a lot of sunrises. Which can be beautiful this time of year.

Hooray, clampy's joined the photography party we've a few new contributors to the thread

These are a few images taken in Mar del Plata, Argentina last Feb. 'Mar del' as its known is the home city of Emiliano Martinez, it is Argentinas premier beach resort for the less wealthy and hosts hundreds of thousands of domestic tourists each year (There are very few foreign tourists here). It is like Blackpool, Benidorm and Copacabana all rolled into one. Argentines come here to be entertained and have a good time, there's lots of community dancing going on and when things go quiet even the lifeguards will be blowing whistles to gee everyone up. Its a wonderful antidote for an old fart like me. I love Mar del.

But I need to get a new camera and back into taking photos, because you don't half some crazy sunsets on Clapham Common. The above is nothing, sometimes it it looks like a UFO is landing.

Just taking with a mobile and very strange.

Strange because this was my back garden in London at midnight a few years ago. Presumably the light in London just bouncing back off the heavy thick clouds ?

No lights / no flash.
