bit of a tory surge here, obvioulsy influenced by today's sun and Cameron's big plan.

Shame Cameron basically wants to crush Local Democracy.

having been a lifelong labour voter I have been growing more and more disenchanted with Gordon Brown. He spent much of the last 5 years waging a personal war against Tony Blair and driving the kind of civil war behaviour that is now his undoing.

His announcements this week were on the whole positive but the decision to scrap childcare vouchers tax relief is naive, short sighted and likely to hit the very people he needs to appeal to. I personally with two children in part week childcare will suffer and for once the greater good to the greater number of people argument is a bit hard to swallow. Perhaps I should be grateful that Gordon Brown's incisive leadeship has saved the economy and banks enough for me to still have a job!

How's you? Fancy a jar on Friday?

..and tell Bushy he's barking up wrong tree....repeatedly.

Amazingly enough I can make tonight,

the kids and Catherine have gone to Cambridge.

Leaving me on my own.

I wonder what picture he has in his mind of you?

You should send him some of your modelling photo's.

One point worth mentioning, and correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the constituencies of Brighton (2) and Hove have a number of small parties and independents standing in 2005? Was it Respect that stood in Hove and something called the Alliance for Green Socialism in Brighton?

 The views not too bad where we are is it? Come and say hello tomorrow at HT!

will do - didn't know who you were til your boy's birthday the other week and I saw his shirt and the glee at the tannoy announcement. I take my 2 year old who at the mo has three highlights of the day - seeing Gully, hearing Sussex by the Sea (he's had it sung to him since he was 6 weeks old and can now since the official and football versions himself) and seeing his cousins. he's actually starting to watch the football too but we try and keep him away from scary things

whoops.

I need to arrange a pass, but should be fine, I note you're visiting Le Elephant,

lets arrange a time and place.

Sure, I'll be pottering off to see a gig at the T&C around half 8, 9. I should be able to get to Camden for 6...is this any good?
