if you want to just party and not get hastled you can. Just buy some bubble guns in town and have a play fight with your other man friends. It's so masculine that the ice's will be running for their painted fingered, fake tanned, lives.

only joking, ice-creams are okay by me. as long as they don't play elbow cricket and try to score runs off me.

not my cup of tea. but dont mind the event

make me laugh though ,with all the pubs trying to cash in

The prodigal is not a Gay bar, "Gay Bar, Gay Bar!" (sorry got carried away there!)

but today where is huge rainbow drapes all around the outside of the pub. talk about cashing in on the pink pound!!
Pubs will latch onto anything that gets people through the doors. Having a pop at the Prodigal for not being a gay pub is like having a pop at 99% of pubs that aren't Irish but are happy to hang out the Guinness banners once a year for St. Patrick's Day.

This is Brighton not Berlin. They should bugger off to another town and stop giving us a bad name.

If the Council had been half as enthusiatic about Falmer, it would be nice???

If we called the ground Gay Pride Park would it help at all?

Voted for once a year.

I have nothing against gay people at all. I'm not that keen when they shove their gayness "in yer face".

On the whole though, Live and let live.

I don't like people behaving in an agressively sexual manner regardless of whether they are gay or straight, male or female. Straight blokes being overtly straight are just as boorish as gay people being "in yer face".

I'm sure plenty of gay people don't like having your straightness shoved in their face. Then again.........:jester:

But how can you say something like that and then say "live and let live". How patronising of you when gay people have to live in a predominently straight world without the same legal rights as same sex couples.

Totally agree with both Dropkickand Buzza. I have nothing against homosexuality but I toofind overt displays of sexuality, whatevet it may be, rather tedious.

Be gay if that's what you are but stop trying to make out that you're either special or clever. It's a personal choice and a personal matter.

I wasn't having a pop at gay people.

I agree that straight people can be just as bad. Worse even!

I don't shove my straightness into anyone's face. I was just referring to the minority of gays that do, how can I put it, go over the top!

Neither was I being homophobic.I just get a bit bored with any minority that tries to imply that their life style choice is a disability.

Being gay is not an ailment, it's a matter of personal preference.

I guess if my orientation had suffered centuries of persecution and ridicule, I guess I'd probably want to celebrate the fact I could be open about it every now and again.

I had a little rainbow flag on top of my PC today. :)

I have nothing against gay people as I knew a couple but have sinced died, Not because off AIDS!!

Me an my brother and a few mates and their girlfriends went to gay pride 2 years ago and had a good time, well the girls did because they could have loads of beer and not have muppets trying to charm them with bullshit!!

Me and my mates were in this tent listening to garage music and was having a brilliant time, it was funny as f*** watching grown men wearing g-srtings dancing with each other.

As I always say...........If thats how they are then so be it as long as they keep them selfs to them selfs.

Am I gay ? NO!! I just live in brighton and accept what they are.

Never been to the one in Brighton but have been to the London one many times.

Loved it (it's too commercial now).

Love it in Brighton - anything that celebrates diversity is good in my eyes. I'd be there if I wasn't in sarf London.
