We have very little option but to blood the kids abeit a season or more too early but I believe the good ones will still come through if they are good enough.I remember seeing lawrenson playing for preston at 18 and it was clear even at that age that he had what it took.Now its not going to be so easy with our batch of youngsters but I do believe that after 15 to 20 games you can tell if they are going to be special , ok or just .....well........... like Wilkinson or Mcfee.

For the record I think Mcshane is very very good.
