Thank you for that, however that was for 2018  :lolol:

We are doing a Rockery tour on Thursday, 10th July but you have to book via Friends of Preston Park.

But, if anyone wants a tour either as an individual or as a group/club, send me a message and i'll do what I can.
You might even see @Jack Straw hiding in the bushes with his legendary banana in his hand

You certainly know how to encourage people :lolol:

I have dug a smallish wildlife pond that's ready for planting. It's 2.5 metres by 2 metres with lots of different depths donw to 45cm. Any advice on plants that won't overtake the space and attach wildlife.

Would also love to see some photos for inspiration.
Here’s my pond, dug by me and my wife on Mothers Day about 30 years ago. It’s been through a few iterations and this year is very Newt-active, but we’re in our second year of “no frogs”.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where all our frogs have gone?

… and here’s what some of the rest of the garden looks like right now.
The Wisteria climbs through three trees and an arch, the blue tits are working overtime and the Robins are disapearing into the undergrowth and singing loudly.
There’s about twelve foot more behind the big trees that is given over to native hedging and wildflowers. The holly has a significant amount of blossom this year already.

What's the dark green, fastigiate tree in the first photo? Looks like a Dryad rotatus?
