Why does nobody seem so keen on Aidy Boothroyd?

I'd definitely like to hear his name being mentioned with Ince and Gannon

the long ball factor is probably putting a few off. He did a brilliant job with watford . When they came down looked a shadow of his former self though. Went missing when their promotion push came off the rails. Bit of a concern there. Think he would be alright though.

Gannon. Excellent career so far on limited resources. Ince may be good but not sure he would hang around if he got an offer from, say, a Championship side

id prefer gannon have been impressed with what he has done at stockport they were in a terrible position at the bottom of league 2 when he took over.he has done really well with the youngsters at stockport as well which is something that worried me about micky when he returned has never been renowned that.
ince does worry me slightly ok he did well at macc but with the backing he had think he was always gonna be a success that said although he worrries me i would welcome him with open arms and these 2 are the best of the names mentioned for me

I would go with Gannon because he knows this standard of football and could develope with us in time. I wouldnt want Waddock because it might mean Robinson coming back and Dixon playing I would sooner stick with what we have in Forster Davies and Murray. Much as I think that Ince would doa club like us a lot of good until he is snapped up again by a Championship or even Premiership club I would think that his expectations of being able to bring in more and higher standard players may proove to be an obstacle.

If I could wave a magic wand and get any manager it would be Neil Warnock.

Well I definitely agree with you that it would be quality, but how could we possibly persuade either an ex-prem or high-flying league one manager to become Brighton '21st in the third tier' and Hove Albion's ASSISTANT? Which one would you even want as manager and which would be assistant?

thats the problem, agreeing who gets what job. I know it wont happen, but in the land of make believe from which we are all typing from, impossible is nothing

If given the choice of those 3
Gannon - Manager
Ince - Assistant Manager
Matthias - 1st Team Coach

Over Ferguson? Mourinho? Ancelotti? Capello?

Are you sure?!

There was a documentary on the TV once and the then manager of Rochdale said that he was a better manager than Ferguson because he could get Rochdale to play football without using big name stars and spending a fortune and he doubted if Ferguson could. That certainly is worth considering. My wife could keep us in this division this season it is that easy to do, but not so sure about next, and if we had WARNOCK I would feel more confident than with any other manager.

Who would you choose if it was between these to guys. My first reaction was Ince as I 'd not heard of Gannon. Now that I have read a little about this Gannon chappy ( Uefa badges etc etc ) I think I'd go with him.

Who would you have ?
dick knight said young manager who's already with club so has to be gannon.
