To be fair both of those games were very wet, LI, and I think the slow pitch helped him alot. Saying that, theoretically he will have more time on the ball in League One.

Was Millwall that wet?

Ok, it wasn't wet until about the 75th min, when we got hit by the hail storm. That was bitter, on top of the 5 minute capitulation just after half time. I'm sorry  I was gunning for a debate. (How sad :( )

He was rushed back to early and after a decent summers break, to quote NSC I believe he 'can do a job'.

Yes, he could have, please stop crapping on Chippy, he was our best player against the likes of Luton (official MOTM) and Millwall (Football League Paper nomination).

You talk out of your ring piece don't you. i remember you poo pooing the MOTM award when it suited you. Chippy did not play well for most of the season, why can't you accept that.

I expect you can back that up then with an example? Because otherwise it would be clearly demonstrated that it is you who are prone to talking out of your arse.

Just because you go trawling through threads doesn't mean I will. So you didn't at some point say that the MOTM award was something of a mixed bag and not an accurate representation of who the best player was?

They're crap because they've hardly featured? You must have more faith in Mark McGhee than I do.

Nicolas is our most talented central midfielder, Turienzo is a striker with a half-decent pedigree, and in his only start at Luton, looked pretty decent, certainly worked his arse off.

Compare with Chippy and Butters - both players past their peak, almost certainly on large wages - are they likely to feature on merit next season? Bad use of money as I see it.

Nicolas
came from Chelsea and he was great, skillful, got the ball, put his foot on it and passed it simple to a Brighton player
McGhee saw no need for this and turned him into a workhorse, in the team to win the ball infront of the defence. he was not allowed forward, and therefore when he did venture within 20 yards of the goal, he shit himself and didnt know what to do.
We should keep him and let him play how he used to, as an attacking midfielder

What? :lolol: When has Nicolas ever been an attacking midfielder?

I'm still not sure mate, the Rooney thing is giving me a bit of trouble.

Come on, that's a low standard that I think 99 per cent on here meet.

No I didn't.

But I think it is now proved you are indeed prone to talking out of your arse without a shred of justification to back it up.

I will take your word for it and apologise, maybe it was someone else then. However it still stands that Chippy did not play that well through the season. Nicolas deserved a chance and from what I have seen could have been a very good player for us.

Oh and I'm not sure one mistake on my part means I am prone to talking out of my arse.

MID-TABLE MIDOCRITY, HERE WE COME!!!!!!!!

I know we can't keep looking back forever and it's easy for me to say, not having to put up with poor results week after week, but Mid table midocrity, whatever that is :lolol: , is something that most fans would have accepted quite happily as little as four years ago.
