disguise yourself as the old codger per his bus pass, rob some banks and drop a big one through the letter box of selhurst then leave the wallet a few feet away.
Finders keepers. Clear him out, should teach him for the future to be more careful.
Phone and send it back without a shadow.... However.....
I know for a fact in my younger days curiosity would have got the better of me and I would have checked his balances and if... if he was minted I may well have cleaned him out. Its the truth and yes I am ashamed to say it, so you can burn me now.
Unwise my friend ....
ATMs have a camera behind the screen, this will hold the date, time and place of the enquiry / withdrawal and your mug shot will be all over the most wanted pages.
I found this out some 15 years ago when the person in front of me using the ATM moved off. I stepped up and the display said "Would you like to do another transaction?" [lady had left her card in and walked out of the bank].
Momentarily I thought, oooh, balance enquiry? But quickly tapped "no" and ejected the card. Completed my own transaction and then handed the lady's card over to the customer services desk. Here the manageress confirmed the camera. Phew !
Return it intact. It's what you would like if it was you that lost it-surely.
And so why did you meet with the PARENTS?![]()
