So if QPR are in the playoffs, when journalists go on about the richest prize in football, will they mention that even receiving a no strings attached cheque for the full £145 million wouldn't come close to clearing the overdraft of a team that enjoyed those riches just last year?

Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold...

But that article is wrong isn't it? Isn't it the following years accounts that will be looked at for FFP?

I was referring to the total debt of £177 million, rather than FFP rules. However, you are right that the piece doesn't make clear that the fine would be applied should the losses be repeated in 13/14. Were they to do this, their total debt would be more like £250 million, before any fines were applied. There was an interesting piece about their options written last year:

They were pretty spot on with their figures.

What happened to Chalobah ? Is he still at Forest ? He looked a world beater last season now he has disappeared off the radar

On loan at Middlesbrough now, which is news for me as I thought he was still at Forest. Seems he really has dropped off the radar after his brilliant season at Watford.

There has been a suggestion that from this season, clubs taking Premier League players on loan have to pay their full wages (I have no idea whether this is based in fact, or not).
In that case Jesse Lingard might be very costly if he is on the same money as Winnie at OT :lolol:
