Prefer spirits, especially gin and dark rum but they're too costly so mostly just a Christmas thing.

So mostly decent lager or cider. with the occasional real ale. And sometimes not-decent lager or cider.

edit: Oh, having re-read the OP and seen it includes non-alcoholic drinks then by large either water or tea.

On a hot day - Provence (has to be Provence) Rose or a good quality Gin and Schweppes tonic
Winters - a bottle of Temperanillo
Evenings or after dinner - Armagnac, whisky or Spanish brandy
Football - lager

Didnt know that was still available.

Well it's banned in most places, but it's still popular among a small contingent of hardcore drinkers that know where to get hold of it. Obviously I can't say too much online, but I know a fella who might be able to send a couple of bottles your way for a price. Glace cherries, umbrellas, the works.

Hove (actually)
When thirsty, can't whack a Kronenbourg or two (Peroni if K1664 not available)
For sheer enjoyment of something fine Harvey's or Pedigree (preferably 3 or 4, but never out of a plastic "glass")
At the tail-end of a sunny day an Aperol Spritz or a bottle of Sussex fizz
On a cold night, or for medicinal reasons, dark rum with fresh ginger and a splash of orange juice
With lamb or fowl a fine Rioja
With beef or game a Pinot noir from Western USA or New Zealand
With fish and shellfish a nice Albariño
With spiced food a bone-dry Alsace Riesling
With cheese it has to be port
Just to pass the evening NZ Sauvignon Blanc
At all other times strong, strong coffee - a cortado anyone?
