Recent sandwiches include...

(nothing too weird or outlandish)

...and all on wholemeal with salted butter.

1) Pastrami, gherkins, rocket and a generous portion of horseradish

2) Cheddar/Red Leicester, Lime Pickle and iceberg lettuce

3) Cheddar, coleslaw and marmite

4) Coronation chicken, lettuce and mango chutney

5) Bacon, brie, houmous and tomato chutney

6) Fishfingers, lettuce, spring onions and tartare sauce

7) Tuna, mayo, peppers, spring onions, fresh mango and watercress

And several other fridge leftovers combinations! Some odd choices of ingredients there. Please, never offer to make my packed lunch.

I don't think i'll ever eat another sandwich again - spent most of the night puking my ring up.

Like many others I just don't think you can beat a perfectly made Bacon sandwich.

I bought a short-dated Tesco's bacon and egg sarny last week for £1.25 which I thought quite reasonable. If you go around supermarket shelves late in the day you can often pick up some bargains.

Having said that all my life I have lived off Sandwich Spread sandwiches, it's the only Heinz product I am still prepared to buy, their soup is sh*te in my humble opinion.

Oh, and I love beetroot sarnies too...

Sandwich Spread looks like puke. Puts me right off.

If I can be ARSED to make it (as it takes a while), then I like a nice boiled egg with chopped tomato and salad cream with ground black pepper and marmite sandwich.

Its even BETTER if its still warm.

Hither (sometimes Thither)
If i weren't a veggie i'd happily go back to a little satchel with a half-baton with a few generous wipes of sardine and tomato paste, a trio, a banana that i'd never eat and a capri sun finished in three slurps each day. Maybe something cheddary on a Friday as a treat.
