We havent really sang la,la,la brighton in a while that song is quality. Braders get a grip the jake robinson song is ridiculous. GOSBTS obvious. brighton, hove albion away away away. we all follow the albion...... sorry if i was a bit harsh earlier but with all these quality songs do we really have to make up shit about chris mcphee/ jake robinson and about team be a small town in areas nowhere near them?

thanx

Hey byf amazing a non aggressive post, here's hoping first impressions are wrong and you are actually a decent genuine bloke. I suspect you are in fact alright, just a little too agressive in putting your point across.

I agree we have tones of great songs and some of them when sung en-masse sounds amazing. Sometimes I would like to be in the othe rend of the groud just to hear what it sound slike then realise then I wouldn't be singing it myself.

Laaaaaa laaaa laaaaa lalala laaaaaa lalala laaaaa Brighton. Fuckin A

Was that song not sung to John Robinson when he played for us?

Can you think of any better songs to sing to those players? Or are you suggesting we don't sing to them at all?

i really dont think either of them deserve songs about them at this stage i believe players have to earn the fans respect before getting songs about them and in my opinion neither of these have done anything amazing. you dont hear many songs about danny cullip now do we.

It's all about building the lads' confidence. Let them know we're behind them and it can only do them good.

Although you're right about one thing - Cullip needs a better song than "There's only one Danny Cullip"

Do you really think anyone is going to have any inclination to try after todays comments?

Would you not think it is an idea to encourage our young players and get behind them?

What else can Robinson do to earn respect? He's 16(now 17) years old, scored on his home debut, and is still at risk of being poached by a "bigger" club.

We hate Cloughie
And his mouth.

Singing that and "We're proud of you ...." on that Thursday night in North London, way back in '83, will stay with me for ever. I was in floods of tears, and will NEVER forget that evening.

Gutted, but unforgettable emotional scenes.

Memories come flooding back whenever I hear either song. in fact I'm welling up a bit now.

We are Brighton etc.

I love that when EVERYONE gets behind it it's amazing, especially away after a goal and the rest of the ground is deathly quiet.

When we got in the East terrace during the boycott game at the Goldstone, looking across at the North Stand singing "Super Brighton" was unbelievable! Absolutely f***ing astounding.

My favourite is not a terrace song, but that 45 classic "The Goldstone Rap"

The whistle goes and the fans cheer, you can hear that noise from the Palace Pier!

GOSBTS and also used to like Na Na Na Na, Na Na Na Na, Heyyyy, Brighton to the tune of Hey Kissin' Goodbye. When the North Stand sang that it was quality.
Also I used to like the song about Bournemouth and Southampton (when they were considered our rivals) can't quote the original tune if you don't know it but it challenged the sexual persuasion of Lawrie McMenemy, Alan Ball and our favourite, Ted McDougall ! (It was a much less tolerant era and diversity acceptance was not high on the agenda of the North Stand regulars in those days.)

GOSBTS and Super Brighton, but to let out a little aggression i like a nice...

"GET INTO 'EM........................................
(you can finish the rest)

...and don't forget 'I'm a knock kneed chicken and a bow legged hen........' punctuated by a communal la la la la la to the same tune whilst bouncing up and down the North Stand terrace
:lolol:
